Girl From The North Country Live @Night
I was commissioned to create an artwork to illustrate Bob Dylan’s song “Girl From The North Country”. I have created 4 versions so far using Botticelli’s famous “Birth of Venus” created in 1486. I have taken some liberties with depicting Venus here. Dylan’s lyrics dictated various elements in the composition. Dylan has been a big source of inspiration to me in many ways.
